Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday accused the Election Commission of “collusion” with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for “vote theft”. Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar later this year.
He also alleged that the Election Commission is helping BJP leaders to get two voter ID cards. Yadav alleged in a conversation with reporters, “It is true that the Election Commission (EC) is colluding with the BJP for vote theft in Bihar before the upcoming assembly elections.”
In fact, after the initial process of special intensive revision (SIR), the draft voter list published by the Election Commission should be called the ‘robbery’ of the vote. The Election Commission is helping BJP leaders to get two voter ID cards in the state. ‘
The RJD leader accused Muzaffarpur Mayor Nirmala Devi of keeping a double voter ID card. He claimed, “According to the BJP’s mayor, the BJP’s possible candidate in the upcoming assembly elections, two voter ID cards belonging to two different booths in one assembly constituency according to the draft voter list. Surprisingly, two members of his family also have two voter ID cards from two different booths in the same assembly constituency.
