Education Department sent strict orders to all DEO, asked to follow immediately at 6 points

The Education Department has issued an order to all District Education Officers (DEOs) to strictly follow the instructions of video conferencing. Additional Chief Secretary Dr. S. Siddharth has written a letter to all DEOs in this regard asking to ensure compliance at 6 important points. The letter states that every Tuesday and Friday, through video conferencing, detailed guidelines are given by the department at various points. But in the review of 26 August, it was found that some districts are negligent in compliance with these instructions. After this, the department has asked to ensure their compliance within a week.

The presence of at least 3 teachers in primary schools and at least 5 teachers in middle schools should be ensured.
Complete the final salary part of the transferred teachers (LPC) in and out immediately. Also, the salary payment of selected school teachers, special teachers and principal teachers should be updated under TRE-1, 2, 3.
There should be regular inspection of schools.
Take action against the principal teachers and principals who do not pick up phones under monitoring from Command and Control Center and do not upload photographs.
The complaint letters filed by the teachers on the e-education portal should be executed immediately.
And immediate execution of departmental actions should be ensured.

DEO will do daily reviews

The Additional Chief Secretary has directed the DEO to ensure progress on these points by reviewing daily. Also, these points will be reviewed from the headquarters level on Tuesday and Friday every week. The department clarified that strict action will be taken against those who are negligent.
