ED interrogated former cricketer Robin Uthappa for 8 hours in betting app case

The ED Enforcement Directorate questioned former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa on Monday for more than eight hours in the money laundering case related to the online betting app OneXBET. The central agency recorded his statement during this period. Officials gave this information.
Officials said that Uthappa reached the agency office at around 11 am and came out of there at seven thirty in the evening.
He said that the cricketer was questioned and his statement was recorded under the Dhan Sudhan Prevention Act in the case. Earlier, the agency has questioned cricketer Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, actress and former Congress MP Mimi Chakraborty and Bengali actor Ankush Hazra in the matter.
The ED has also summoned former cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actor Sonu Sood on Tuesday and Wednesday for questioning in the same case.
