Earthquake tremors in Gansu province of China, 11 people injured

11 people were injured when an earthquake of 5.6 magnitude on Saturday in Gansu province of China. Government media gave this information. Government broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV) reported that the injured were taken to regional hospitals.

According to government news agency Xinhua, five of the six people brought to a hospital have been admitted. Their condition is stable. According to the Chinese earthquake center, the earthquake occurred at 5.49 am in Lonkshi County, with a center at a depth of 10 km from the ground.

According to government media, 17 houses were destroyed due to earthquake and more than 3,500 residential buildings were damaged. Government media said that about 7,800 people from Longshi and Jhangshian County have been taken to other places.
