A Bengali film director has crushed the people running from their cars in Thakurpur market in Kolkata. One has died and 6 people are seriously injured in the incident. The accused film director Siddhant Das alias Victo has been arrested by the police.
However, before the arrest of the police, the angry mob beat up Siddhant on the spot and the executive producer of the Bengali channel with them, Shriya Basu. The police saved both of them safely from the crowd.

According to reports, director and producer Shriya Basu was celebrating the success of his daily soap. Both of them partyed till midnight at South City Mall in Kolkata. Then both of them started walking in the city in a state of intoxication. At nine and a half in the morning, drunk Siddhanta carried a car on people walking on Diamond Harbor Road.
Police say that both of them were so intoxicated that they were not able to stand properly. Shriya’s condition was so bad due to intoxication that when the police were sitting in the car, she fell on the road. The police have captured the car along with the accused director. Also, four bottles of liquor were also recovered from the car. The accused director will be produced in court on Tuesday.
