According to the information, the police party, including SHO Kuldeep Chand of the police station GRP, was posted at the railway station Faridkot for checking. Checking of the Jammuutvi Express train that came from Bathinda to Ferozepur was started. While checking in the train’s AC coach B-4, a person was holding a bang in his hand, who started running forward after seeing the police party checking.
While running, the bag fell down from his hand, causing some cartons of bullets to be scattered out. When the police controlled him and the entire bag was searched, 33,800 intoxicating bullets were recovered from it. The accused was identified as Mithapur, Mahendrada, District Junagadh, Gujarat, resident of Khojanji Jayakumar.
Inquiry continues from court with remand for 2 days-SHO
In this case, SHO Kuldeep Chand said that the accused train works under the contractor. Now the police is being questioned by the police on remand for 2 days and information is being collected from where this consignment of intoxication was brought and who was to be supplied.
