The Bombay High Court on Wednesday dismissed a petition filed against Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s film ‘Jolly LLB 3’, alleging that judges and lawyers were mocked. The High Court said that the court has become accustomed to such a joke. He said, “Don’t worry us.”
The petition filed by the ‘Association for Edging Justice’ through advocate Chandrakant Gaikwad requested to stop the film’s release and remove the song ‘Bhai Vikal Hai’, which claimed that it was derogatory to the legal profession. Petitioner’s counsel Deepesh Siroya said that not only the lawyers but also the judges have been mocked in the film and the song, as one scene calls the judges called “Mamu”, which is a derogatory term for the judiciary.

Advance Booking Report of Jolly LLB 3
Advance booking of Jolly LLB 3 began on 15 September, which is four days before its release this Friday. However, according to Caikanilk, in two days after that, the film has been able to sell only 32,000 tickets, which has earned ₹ 99 lakh in the first day’s pre-cell. This figure is quite low for this inherited sequel with a strong star cast. The release of the film has less than two days left, and its advanced booking has not been more than ₹ 1 crore yet. The manufacturers hope that with the release date approaching, advance booking will also be accelerated.
