Prithvi Shaw has decided to break his relationship with Mumbai cricket. He has informed the Mumbai Cricket Association i.e. MCA that he wants to play professional cricket for another state team. This is the reason why he has demanded a No Objection Certificate i.e. NOC from his parents association. He has been out of Mumbai’s team for a long time.

Sources in MCA told The Indian Express that, they have sought NOC from us and we will soon decide on it. Prithvi Shaw was dropped for the Ranji Trophy match last year due to poor fitness from the Mumbai team. The decision was taken by the Senior Committee and asked him to participate in a two -week fitness program prepared by the MCA trainer. Team management had informed the MCA that Prithvi Shaw has 35 percent fat in his body and needs rigorous training before his return to the team.
