Do not make Bengal North Korea, Kangana Ranaut attacked Mamta Sarkar on Sharmishta Panoli’s arrest

A day after Kolkata Police arrested Instagram Influencer Sharmishtha Panoli from Gurugram, BJP MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut strongly condemned the move. He has urged the West Bengal government not to try to make the state North Korea.

Talking to the media regarding Panoli’s arrest, Ranaut said that it is not right to disturb anyone in the name of law and order, because everyone has democratic rights.

Speaking to the media, Ranaut said, ‘It is not right to harass anyone in the name of law and order. When someone apologizes and deletes the post, but it is very wrong to put him in jail, torture him, end his career and question his character. This should not happen to any daughter.

Kangana further requested the Mamta government not to try to make Bengal North Korea. He said, ‘I urge the West Bengal government not to try to make the state North Korea. Everyone has democratic rights. He has apologized for his vulgar remarks. He had said everything in general and today’s generation uses such a language very generally- in both English and Hindi. She should be released soon as she is a very young woman. He has full career and life in front of him.

Not only Kangana, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan also came in support of Panoli and condemned his arrest by Kolkata Police for alleged communal videos.
