Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reached Saragarhi Gurdwara Sahib in Ferozepur Cantonment to pay homage to the martyrs of Saragarhi on their martyrdom day. Referring to the warriors born from the land of Punjab, the Chief Minister said that the land of Punjab is very blessed, it never lets anyone sleep hungry.

After the recitation of Sri Akhand Path Sahib conducted on this occasion, it was said that a unique kind of Sara Garhi War Memorial will be built at the historical Gurdwara Saragarhi Sahib in Ferozepur Cantonment in memory of the Sikh war martyrs of Saragarhi War 1897.
