The terrorist attack in Pahalgam has put the entire Bollywood world in deep shock. All the actors and filmmakers of the film industry are expressing their displeasure over the incident. Now director Anil Sharma has also given his reaction. He said that now all limits of tolerance have crossed. India never attacked before, but it is not possible to remain silent anymore. He also said that our films are always given the message of peace and unity.
During a conversation with E Times, Anil Sharma said, ‘Every filmmaker has put the fight between India and Pakistan on screen in its own way. Yash Chopra ji showed it in his special way, while ‘Border’ introduced it to people in a different way. When we made ‘Gadar’, our message was that love is the most important. Millions of lives were over during the partition. After this, we had to raise the question that if people were the same in the two countries, was there a need for a new country? At that time, the roots of the Muslims living in India were attached to Hindus somewhere and there was a feeling of deep brotherhood between the two.

Anil Sharma further said, ‘At the time of partition, it was said that Hindus living in Pakistan will remain there and Muslims living in India will remain there. As we also showed in Gadar. In Pakistan, Hindus were being ordered to leave from there. All this was the result of the game of power and religion, which ends humanity.
According to Anil Sharma, films like ‘Uri’ and ‘Veer Zara’ are completely different. If someone attacks our house, then we will also go back to his place. Uri and Anil Sharma’s first showed the same in their film ‘Tehelka’.

Anil Sharma said, ‘What does it mean to kill by asking the name? Why was there a need for murder? Do you want to fight between Hindus and Muslims? These are all tricks of politics, where people promote such environment to meet their personal interests. If people of both countries decide to follow the path of humanity, then relationships can improve. Leaders will always do politics, but we should spread the message of love and peace in our society.
