Famous singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has now come out with a big statement in the matter of receiving threats after joining Kaun Banega Crorepati-17, in which he shared the post and explained the reason for joining KBC.
Let us tell you that this controversy started when Diljit touched Amitabh Bachchan’s feet on the set of KBC-17, after which a banned organization threatened him saying that Diljit’s show on November 1, i.e. Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day, is a ‘memorial day joke’. It was warned that if the show was not cancelled, a panthak shutdown rally would be held and Sikh organizations around the world were urged to boycott Diljit’s programmes.
It is worth mentioning that this concert of Diljit Dosanjh will be held at the Ami Park Stadium in Melbourne, Australia under the Aura 2025 World Tour, before which he will become the first Indian artist to have a sold out stadium show.
Now Diljit has shared the post giving a statement on this threat, in which he has said that “I did not go to KBC for the promotion of any song or film, I went for the floods in Punjab so that there is talk at the national level and people can donate.
