Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has left for a two -day official visit of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 10 to 11 September. The purpose of Pradhan’s visit is to deepen bilateral cooperation in education and promote strategic partnership for educational excellence and innovative ecosystem. During this visit, he will meet the top leaders of the United Arab Emirates, ministers, policy makers, academics and representatives of institutions in India and the United Arab Emirates. Discussions will be focused on increasing cooperation in the exchange of education, innovation and knowledge, as well as focused on finding new avenues to fulfill the aspirations of students and youth of both countries.

On 10 September, Dharmendra Pradhan Abu Dhabi will meet Sarah Musallam, the Chairman of the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). He will also visit the IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi campus, where he will inaugurate the Atal Incubation Center and inaugurated PhD and B.Tech programs. During this visit, they will interact with students and faculty members. Minister will visit BAPS Hindu Temple at Abu Dhabi and attend the first anniversary of Dubai campus of Symbiosis University. On 11 September, Principal Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will join the United Arab Emirates Higher Education Minister Abdul Rahman Al Avwar for the inauguration of the Dubai campus of Ahmedabad. Both ministers will also discuss intense discussions on the ongoing cooperation in the field of education and future.

Subsequently, the ministers will attend a round table conference of Indian Higher Education Institutions run in the United Arab Emirates, focusing on increasing the presence and impact of Indian education world in the region. Under his programs in Dubai, Dharmendra Pradhan will also participate in the “Name of a Trees Mother” in the Indian Consulate in the Indian Consulate. They will interact with the principals of CBSE schools and inaugurate the Atal Tinkering Lab in Indian schools in the United Arab Emirates.
