The highest institution council of NITI Aayog consists of Chief Ministers of all states, Lieutenant Governor of Union Territories and several Union Ministers. Prime Minister Modi is the chairman of NITI Aayog. In the meeting, the Prime Minister said that we have to increase the pace of development.
The 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was held on Saturday. The theme of the meeting of the Governing Council is ‘Developed States for Developed India@2047’. The highest institution council of NITI Aayog consists of Chief Ministers of all states, Lieutenant Governor of Union Territories and several Union Ministers. Prime Minister Modi is the chairman of NITI Aayog. In the meeting, the Prime Minister said that we have to increase the pace of development. If the Center and all the states work together like Team India, then no goal is impossible.
Modi said that developed India is the goal of every Indian. When every state develops, India will also develop. This is the aspiration of 140 crore citizens. He said that states should develop at least one tourist destination in each state by suit global standards and providing all facilities and infrastructure. A state: a global destination. This will also develop neighboring cities as a tourist destination. He said that there is rapid urbanization in India. We should work towards cities ready for the future. Development, innovation and stability should be the engine of development of our cities.
This is the first major meeting of the Prime Minister with the Chief Ministers of all the states and the Lieutenant Governors of the Union Territories after Operation Sindoor. According to the statement, the idea of โโa developed state for developed India is a call from states to create adventure, long -term and inclusive vision documents associated with national priorities, which are based on local realities. It states, “These wins should include time -bound goals.” Generally, the full council meets every year and it was held on 27 July last year.
