In Faridkot, Punjab, the Indian Farmers Union Ekta Siddhpur has started a front against the state government in Dallewala, ancestral village of Jagjit Singh Dallawal. On Tuesday, the organization came to the state level meeting in the village of State President Jagjit Singh Dallewala.

After the meeting, the organization unanimously decided that until the farmer leaders arrested by the state government were released, he would continue the farmer front in village Dallewala itself. After a meeting with the central government in Chandigarh on March 19, the Punjab Police took the leaders including farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewala into custody and forcibly abolished the Kisan Morcha running on Khanouri and Shambhu border. Demonstrations were held and from there the farmers were detained and lodged in jails. A day earlier, the villagers started an indefinite strike in village Dallawala led by Gurpinder Singh, son of farmer leader Jagjit Singh and on Tuesday, officials from various districts of Bhakiyu Ekta Siddhpur gave the form of a front after the meeting. On this occasion, concern was raised about the health of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewala.
Farmers will remain stuck till the release of leaders On this occasion, Surjit Singh Sangrur said that the state government betrayed him, which he had never imagined. Now till the release of his leaders, he will stand in the village Dallewala and after that the next struggle will be announced.
On the other hand, a heavy police force has been deployed in the surrounding area including the village as soon as the farmers started a front in village Dallewala. Farmers suspect that this front can also be forcibly abolished by the government, but they have already made up their mind to give arrest.
