The Delhi Police conducted a raid on criminal bases in the national capital and Haryana in the early hours of Thursday and arrested three people, including the father of the jailed gangster Neeraj Bawana.
Police detained 36 people, who are habitual criminals. The raids recovered Rs 49.6 lakh cash, 1.36 kg of gold, 14.6 kg silver, a bulletproof Scorpio SUV vehicle, a motorcycle, 27 mobile phones, a laptop, seven indigenous and state -of -the -art pistols, a revolver, 40 cartridges, three bore brushes, two clean brush, two cleaning sticks and a knife.
Police said that members and colleagues of Kala Jathadi, Jitendra alias Gogi, Neeraj Bawana, Rajesh Bawana, Tillu Tajpuria, Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu and Netu Dabodha led by gang members and colleagues were targeted.
According to the police, Shaktimaan (34), Vedpal (55) and Prem Singh Sehrawat (67) were arrested from the outer district, while three other Vishal alias Behra alias Ankit, Hariom alias Ankit and Naveen were arrested from Rohini district. Of these, Sehrawat is the father of Neeraj Bawana, while he (Neeraj) himself is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.
