The Delhi Police claimed to have busted two drug suppliers and bust a large heroin gang and also seized a banned drug worth more than Rs five crore. An official gave this information on Sunday.
He said that the team seized 1,049 grams of heroin, a scooter, cash and mobile phones under a campaign. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said, “54 -year -old Seema, a resident of Nand Nagri, is his sister -in -law (43), a resident of Nand Nagari.
The official said the two women were arrested during a raid near GTB Hospital on 22 August, when they were trying to deliver heroin to the slum located in D-Block of Nand Nagari. The official said that both were riding on a blue scooter, which has been confiscated.
