Delhi-Patna distance in 11.5 hours! Vande India sleeper gift, route and rent before Diwali-Chhath

Indian Railways is preparing to start the country’s much awaited Vande Bharat Sleeper Express train just before Diwali. According to some reports, it is likely to start in late September. Unlike existing Vande Bharat Express trains, which provide suitable chaircar services primarily for day -time or short trips, the new model is specially designed for night trips.

According to the information, this premium train will connect Delhi and Patna via Prayagraj. The approximate travel time will be only 11.5 hours, which is less than the normal 12–17 hours. Also, this train will provide passengers like airplane -like facility in train fares. The Vande Bharat Sleeper Express will run at a maximum speed of 180 km/h, which is much faster than Rajdhani Express, which takes about 23 hours on this route. According to the report, the train is expected to leave Patna at 8 pm and reach Delhi at 7.30 am the next day. The journey to return from Delhi will also be according to the program of this night.

The ticket fare is expected to be 10-15% higher than the fare of Rajdhani Express running on the same route. However, the authorities have justified the fare gap citing low travel time and advanced facilities. Despite being more expensive than other trains, the Vande Bharat Sleeper Express expects passengers to get a cheaper option of air travel on this route. Each coach of Vande Bharat Sleeper Express has been produced by Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) using Advanced Integral Coach Factory (ICF) technology.

The train is equipped with many modern facilities including CCTV cameras, LED screens for information and entertainment, sensors with automatic doors, modern fire security systems and announcement facilities in the train. The report states that the inner part has a plane -motivated design, which aims to provide a premium travel experience to the passengers. The Delhi-Patna route is one of the busiest routes in the country, especially during the festive season when millions of people travel between the capital and Bihar. The new Vande Bharat Sleeper Express is expected to reduce this congestion and get the option of fast travel to passengers.
