Delhi: 27 year old man injured in firing near police quarters in Shahdara

A 27 -year -old man was allegedly shot dead by two brothers after a minor argument late on Thursday night near the police quarters in Shahdara in the national capital, injuring him. An official gave this information.

The incident said that the incident took place near Tikona Park behind Shahdara police station at around 1 pm. Police said that Shahdara police station received a PCR call at 1.43 pm.

Ridham Surma, who made the call, told the police that two people named Sourav Nagar and Gaurav Nagar called his friend Akhil Panwar and then shot at him. Surma took the injured to the hospital, where doctors said that his condition was out of danger.

The official said, Pawar, a resident of Shahdara, has been fired four bullets. A criminal case is registered against her at Shahdara police station. The official said that preliminary investigation revealed that the firing incident occurred after an argument, in which Panwar allegedly used abusive words for Sourav Nagar and Gaurav Nagar. A case has been registered on the basis of the complainant’s statement and the investigation of the case is going on. Teams have been formed to catch the accused.
