A major decision in the Cabinet meeting of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was taken. In the meeting SV families have been given a great relief from loans. SV families were owed by Rs 68 crore. The Finance Minister has been approved by the budget by the Finance Minister.
The Chief Minister said that it was relief day for thousands of families. The devices given to 31 March 2020 are being waived. All these loans were taken to start small businesses. Education loans were also taken. There was no earning member in any house. This will benefit 4 thousand 727 families. All debts taken from the PSCFS has been forgiven from the PSCFS.
The Chief Minister said that the twenty-year-old debts were forgiven. A Rs. 30 crore in this loan is Rs 23 million interest, 23 million and Rs. 15 crore. It was the amount owed for the last 20 years. He said that taking a loan is not someone’s hobby. No one thinks he will take a loan and will later forgive.
