An e-rickshaw driver was attacked in Bathinda. At the Power House Road Traffic Signal Chowk, six youths beat the e-rickshaw driver badly with sticks and rods. The police is investigating the case.

According to the information, the e-rickshaw driver injured in the attack has been identified as Sandeep (33), a resident of Chandsar Basti. He broke one hand in the attack and suffered serious head injuries. As soon as the incident was reported, the young Welfare Society Volunteer Yadvinder Kang of Bathinda reached the spot with an ambulance.
He immediately admitted the injured Sandeep to the civil hospital. Initial investigation is said to be the reason for the attack.
Action will be taken after receiving the report
Ravindra Singh, in -charge of the police station civil line, said that the matter is under his notice. He said that Medico-Legal reports have not yet been received from the civil hospital. After receiving the report, further action will be taken after recording the statement of the victim.
