Deadly attack on BJP leader Arjun Singh in West Bengal? Bomb and firing outside the house

There was chaos on Tuesday outside the residence of BJP leader Arjun Singh in Bhatpara, West Bengal, and there were reports of bombs and firing which led to disruption in the night. Singh, who claims to have video evidence, said that the attack around midnight was pre -planned, causing panic in the area. In contrast, local MLA Somnath Shyam Ichini and police denied these incidents and said the investigation of the case was going on.

BJP leader Arjun Singh accused of firing outside his house and throwing indigenous bombs

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arjun Singh on Tuesday alleged that firing was fired outside his house in Bhatpara in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, domestic bombs were thrown and a car was vandalized. Singh said that the incident took place around midnight, causing smoke to spread there.

The former MP claimed, “I was watching TV and suddenly I heard a noise outside at around 12.30 pm. Bombs were thrown and fired. I also have videos. I came out running … and all the people escaped. ”

He shared the alleged CCTV footage of the incident, saying, “Police was running away during the attack. The condition of these poor policemen is pathetic. If there was a counter attack, someone could have lost his life. All this was planned. ”

Somnath Shyam Ichini, MLA from Jagaddal of Trinamool Congress, denied the allegations and claimed that Singh himself is responsible for the violence in the area. At the same time, the police said that no bullet was fired nor indigenous bombs were thrown. He said that the investigation of the case is going on.
