Actor Dakota Johnson and singer Chris Martin allegedly had a breakup. The couple was in a relationship for about eight years.While his representatives have kept silence on his relationship status, a source told Peepal Magazine that “this time the breakup seems to be fixed.”
Earlier this year, ‘Materialist’ came to India before the music of the Sphiers World Tour Concert along with the lead singer of the actor Coldplay. He was also seen visiting the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai and later taking a holy bath at the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj.The report came a few weeks after being photographed together in Malibu on 16 May.
In January, Johnson and Martin made headlines when they arrived in Mumbai for two concerts of Coldplay as part of the Music of the Sphiers World Tour. He was also seen going to local sites like Siddhivinayak Temple, Sri Babulnath Temple and Marine Drive.
After the concert ended, both also went to Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj in 2025.At that time, many pictures of Martin and Johnson took a holy bath at Triveni Sangam on social media.According to photos, Martin kept his look simple in black shorts, while Johnson adopted the Indian tradition wearing an ethnic outfit. In a heart touching moment, Martin was also seen praying with folded hands.

Johnson and Martin were first involved romanticly in 2017, when they were seen enjoying the sushi date in Los Angeles. Since then the couple has been seen together in many public programs.
Last March, an internal source told Peepal magazine that Johnson and Martin had “years” earlier “years” after airing the rumors of engagement in 2020. However, at that time they were “not in a hurry to get married”.
Before dating Johnson, Martin married Oscar winner-actress Gwneth Paltro. She married in 2003 and officially separated in 2015. They are parents of two children – a daughter, Apple Martin and a son, Moses Martin.

On the work front, Johnson will appear next time in the materials directed by Past Lives fame Seleen Song. In the upcoming romantic comedy, actor is playing the role of a young matchmaker living in New York City, which is unexpectedly stuck in the attraction of his ideal partner (Pedro Pascal) and emotions for an incomplete ex -lover (Chris Evans).
Zo Winters, Marin Ireland, Dasha Nekrasova, Luisa Jacobson and Syre Spielberg are also among the actors of the film. Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release materials in Indian cinemas on 13 June.Martin is currently busy with the Music of the Sphiers World Tour. The band has to perform in Las Vegas on 6 and 7 June next time.
