CPI General Secretary D Raja on Wednesday supported Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s comment on the loss of the aircraft during Operation Sindoor and questioned why the Prime Minister does not open his mouth on such a case. He further said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should respect parliamentary democracy. Raja told ANI that Rahul Gandhi is the leader of the opposition and why not open his mouth and speak on such a matter? Not only Rahul Gandhi, but all political parties are asking many important questions and demanding to call a special session of Parliament.

On Monday, Rahul Gandhi again questioned External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and accused him of remaining silent on how many aircraft the Indian Air Force lost during the operation. He said that the country has “right to know the truth.”
Rahul Gandhi posted on X that the silence of External Affairs Minister Jaishankar is not just rhetoric – this is condemnable. So I will ask again: How many Indian aircraft we lost because Pakistan knew? It was not a lapse. It was a crime. And the country has the right to know the truth. Congress MP Manikam Tagore supported his leader and said that the nation has the right to truth and Parliament has the right to accountability.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi in his post on X had accused the government of doing wrong things, saying that it was a crime to inform Pakistan at the beginning of our attack. The Foreign Minister has publicly acknowledged that the Government of India did so. Who authorized it? As a result, how many aircraft our Air Force lost?
