“Dabangg” director Abhinav Kashyap has rekindled his feud with Salman Khan, accusing the superstar of being a “criminal” and questioning his credibility to play a soldier in “Battle of Galwan”. The controversy stems from Kashyap’s long-standing claims that Salman hijacked “Dabangg” and created a toxic work environment, which eventually led to the director losing the sequel.

In a recent interview shared by Bollywood Thikana, Abhinav said without hesitation, “A hypothetical situation could be that Salman orders to attack me.” He further said, “He is not saying anything when I am criticizing him, but his sycophants have a problem with it. This man has ruined his life to such an extent that it cannot be saved now.” Talking about Salman’s upcoming film, he said, “Will a criminal like him play the role of a soldier?”

‘He stabbed me in the back’

Kashyap went into more detail about his rift with Salman, and how he felt betrayed after giving the superstar his big break in Dabangg. Taking a dig at Salman’s ‘chapari’ or bad style, Abhinav said, “He begged me for the film, and I gave him a chance in Dabangg, but he stabbed me in the back. The poison these people have put inside me, I am vomiting this poison.” He also raised the question as to why someone like Salman could be cast as a heroic fighter.

Salman Khan reacts to Abhinav Kashyap’s “false claims”

Salman Khan recently hit out at Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap, who described Salman as a “goon” and his family as “vindictive”.
This reaction of Salman came during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19. The conversation took place during contestant Tanya Mittal’s birthday celebrations. The entrepreneur and spiritual influencer talked about her struggles after moving to Mumbai and said that she was often scared and wanted a supportive family. He also asked Salman if he could do the same for him.
To this, the host replied, “This is my condition these days – whoever joins me, and whoever joined me earlier, gets into trouble.”
