Crime Branch raids the rave party in Pune, arrested with 7 drugs including former minister Eknath Khadse’s son -in -law

The Crime Branch of Pune Police (Crime Branch) raided a rave party in the city and arrested seven people. Those arrested include Pranjal Khawalkar, son -in -law of former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse. Police have recovered several narcotics including cocaine from the party site during the raid.
Police raids and arrests
On Sunday morning, the police said that the crime branch team raided after receiving information about running a rave party in a studio apartment in posh Kharadi area of Pune city. In this raid, drugs like cannabis, alcohol and hookah were also seized.
A senior police officer informed, ‘We were reported to have a rave party in an apartment in Kharadi area. On this basis, our crime branch team raided. He further said, ‘During the raid, drugs like cannabis, liquor and hookah were recovered. We have detained seven people, including five men and two women. All the arrested persons have been taken into custody and the process of registering a case against them is going on.

Who is Pranjal Khawalkar?
Pranjal Khawalkar is the husband of Advocate Rohini Khadse, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar faction). According to his Instagram profile, Pranjal is an entrepreneur, social worker and doctor. According to IMDB, he is a dynamic businessman and manufacturer. He stepped into the entertainment industry with the music video ‘Naa Tum Se’ released under his banner Summer Productions. Taking advantage of the digital landscape, Dr. Khawalkar was also actively looking for opportunities in the OTT area. His commercial interests include Chinese and Electricity Industry as well as event management.

Reacted by Eknath Khadse
Former minister Eknath Khadse, while reacting to the incident, said that he has just come to know about it and he is gathering more information. He also stated that given the current political atmosphere, he feared any such incident. However, Khadse clarified that they do not support any wrongdoing and emphasized that anyone found guilty should be held accountable.
