Ludhiana | A large case came to light in Doraha from the vigilance of the cow guard party, where a truck filled with cow dynasty was caught and handed over to the police. Cow guards chased this truck stopped on Doraha Service Road and arrested the driver and assistant with the help of police.

19 cows were recovered from the truck, which the police sent to the cowshed in Doraha. Police have registered a case against truck driver Jitendra Singh and assistant Harjinder Singh, Amritsar, based on the statement of cow guards. Mukesh Kumar, a member of the cow guard team, said that he had received information about cow smuggling, after which he chased the truck.
When the truck reached the service road in Doraha, they took the police along. On searching the truck, 19 cows were found in it, which were being taken illegally. The police have registered a case against the accused Jitendra Singh and Harjinder Singh by taking possession of the truck.
Both the accused are being questioned in custody as to where this cow dynasty was brought and where it was being taken. The cow guard party has demanded from the administration that strict action should be taken against the people involved in cow smuggling, so that such incidents can be stopped in future. Police say that the entire network is being investigated and soon other people associated with this smuggling will also be tightened.
