The Pakistan conference was recently organized at the South Asia Institute of Harvard University, the largest university in the US. Pakistan Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Pakistan Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh participated in it.
The event took place on 27 April, due to which there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir four days ago, which has been accused by India on Pakistan.
Indian students lodged their opposition and objections in front of Harvard regarding this conference. After this, Harvard separated himself from this issue and removed the information of the program from his website.
Two Indian students Surabhi Tomar and Rashmini Koparkar wrote a letter to Harvard’s leadership and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. In the letter, he wrote that it was wrong to call the university to Pakistani government officials.
Students wrote-

It is wrong to call the officials of the government to promote terrorism or justify it, people will also raise the question on Harvard that the university is also involved in the terrorist attack.
Students also demanded that Harvard Pahalgam should publicly condemn the attack. Let me tell you, this event was organized by Pakistani students of Harvard.

Apart from this, it was also learned that Hitesh Hathi, Executive Director of the University, had recently participated in a panel discussion with Pakistani-American historian Ayesha Jalal.
