Contact with foreign nuclear scientist! Has visited Pakistan… Suspected spy caught in Delhi, was running dangerous network

Delhi Police has arrested a 59-year-old man for his alleged involvement in espionage activities. These activities include links to a foreign nuclear scientist and a fake passport racket operating from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. An official gave this information on Tuesday.He said the accused has been identified as Mohammad Adil Hussaini and is also known as Syed Adil Hussain, Naseemuddin and Syed Adil Hussaini. He was arrested from Seemapuri, Delhi two days ago.A police source said that the accused was in contact with a nuclear scientist living abroad and had traveled to several countries including Pakistan. The source claimed that he had obtained three identity cards of a sensitive establishment using forged documents.And he was also linked to a fake passport racket operating from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

According to the official, the accused has been identified as Mohammad Adil Hussain and is also known by the names Syed Adil Hussain, Naseemuddin and Syed Adil Hussaini. He told that Adil was caught from Seemapuri, Delhi two days ago. A police source said that the accused was in contact with a nuclear scientist living abroad and had traveled to several countries including Pakistan.

The source claimed that he had obtained three identity cards of a sensitive establishment using forged documents. Additional Police Commissioner (Special Cell) Pramod Singh Kushwaha said that Adil is a resident of Tata Nagar in Jamshedpur. “Adil and his brother Akhtar Hussaini are suspected of providing sensitive information to other countries and obtaining several Indian passports using forged documents,” he said. The entire network was allegedly being operated from Jamshedpur, where fake identity cards and passports were being prepared with the help of forged documents.

Kushwaha said that during the search, the police seized one original and two fake passports from Adil’s possession. He said that Adil was arrested on October 26 in a case registered under sections 61(2) (criminal conspiracy), 318 (cheating), 338 (forgery of valuable security, will etc.) and 340 (making fake document or electronic record and using it as genuine) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS).

Mumbai Police has also arrested Adil’s brother Akhtar, who had traveled to several Gulf countries and allegedly obtained three identity cards of a confidential center using forged documents, a senior police officer said. The team investigating the case is also finding out how many people were issued fake passports through this network. Kushwaha said Adil was produced in the court, which allowed him to be sent to seven-day police custody for further questioning.
