Congress is doing shameless drama in Gwalior to get votes in the name of Ambedkar: Chief Minister Yadav

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, accusing the Congress of insulting the legacy of the constitution creator Dr. BR Ambedkar, said that the major opposition party is shamelessly drama in Gwalior to get votes in the name of Ambedkar.

He said this, targeting the Congress’ protest in this city demanding the place of Ambedkar’s statue in the premises of Gwalior Peeth of Madhya Pradesh High Court. Yadav told reporters in Indore that even after Ambedkar’s Jeet ji and his death, the Congress never gave him respect.

He said, “.. But today Congress leader is doing shameless drama in Gwalior to get votes only in the name of Ambedkar. The public knows everything and that the sins of the Congress are not forgotten. ”

The Chief Minister claimed that Congress leaders first made ‘all arrangements’ that Ambedkar’s statue could not be installed in the premises of Gwalior bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

He said, “And today when the case of this statue has reached before the Chief Justice of the High Court, Congress leaders are spectacular across the state.” Yadav launched a scathing attack on the Congress on the 50th anniversary of the Emergency and said that this party has always been mocking the Constitution.

He said, “The emergency of emergency on the country was imposed during the Congress rule and democracy was taken captive. For this, the present leadership of the Congress should apologize to the public. ”

The then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi imposed an emergency in the country on 25 June 1975. During this period, opposition leaders and disgruntled people were jailed, suspending civil rights and censorship was implemented on the press.
