The Maharashtra Congress accused the Mahayuti government of overturning the election promise over the loan waiver of the farmers. State Congress President Harshvardhan Sapkal said on Wednesday that the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP alliance is suffering from ‘Ghajini syndrome’. They have forgotten their election promise of debt waiver of farmers.
He said that even in the budget session, no concrete decision was taken regarding loan waiver and giving money to women. Only bypassing the public with real issues, an attempt was made to divert attention from subjects like Aurangzeb’s tomb.

Sapkal said, the government should forgive farmers’ debt before the sowing season, or a special relief package from the Center.
