He said that under the Scheduled Castes Abhiudaya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, Grant-in-Aid for District/State-level projects for the socio-economic betterment of Scheduled Castes and construction of educational hostels for Scheduled Caste students (boys and girls). He said that Special Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Secretary Social Justice Authority and Minorities will be the chairpersons of this committee.
Besides, the Administrative Secretary or Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Horticulture, Land and Water Conservation, Industry and Commerce, Cooperatives, Finance, Planning, Rural Development and Panchayat, Social Security Women and Child Development, Higher Education and Language, School Education, Health And representatives of family welfare, water supply and sanitation, public works, irrigation and water resources, new and renewable energy sources, information technology, employment generation and training, other related departments will be members of this committee.

He said that similarly the Chairman Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission, 5 representatives of Scheduled Castes from the districts under the PMAJ scheme whose villages are being covered will also be members. He also informed that the head or representative of the National Informatics Center will also be a member of this committee.
He said that the Director of Social Justice, Empowerment and Minority will be the Member-Secretary in the case of Prime Minister Adarsh Gram Yojana and Construction/Renovation. In addition, the Director (SCSP)-cum-Joint Secretary will be the Member-Secretary in the matter of grant-in-aid for District/State-level projects for the socio-economic betterment of Scheduled Castes.
The Cabinet Minister directed that it will be necessary for the State Level Project Mulankat-cum-Convergence Committee to meet once in six months.
Apart from this, the Deputy Commissioner at the district level will be the Chairperson of the Project Appraisal-cum-Convergence Committee.
