The simple but symbolic logo of India’s Operation Sindoor, which shook the imagination of crores of people across the country, was designed by two Indian Army soldiers. Let us remind you that India had demolished nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-Kashmir (POK) in accurate attacks in the early hours of May 7 in Pahalgam’s massacre. Shortly thereafter, the Indian Army social media handles shared a poster with an emotional message, which has now become the identity of Operation Sindoor. According to the special edition of the army magazine ‘Conversation’, the logo of this decisive military action was prepared by Lieutenant Colonel Harsh Gupta and Havildar Surinder Singh.
This special edition of the magazine depicts pictures of both soldiers and the famous logo designed by them. Also, a box also shows how wide support and response it has received on social media platforms (eg X and Instagram). Let us tell you that the entire logo has been published on the initial page of this 17 -page magazine with the sign of the Indian Army. On the second page of the magazine, the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April 2025 is mentioned. Post -attacks with details of the incident of Pahalgam attack have been included in the post -attack, the dead body wrapped in the shroud, and emotional pictures of the funeral of a victim.
On the 11th page of the magazine, there is a picture of the Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, in which he is looking at the screen grid. Also, Timstamp is recorded at 7 May 2025 at 01:05 pm. Let us remind you that Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sophia Qureshi had told in the press conference that the attack was carried out between 1:05 pm and 1:30 pm and its purpose was to provide justice to the victims of Pahalgam attack. Let us remind you that the government said in a statement released at 1:44 pm on the same day that India has shown “remarkable restraint” in the method of selection and action and no Pakistani military hideout was targeted.
If seen, the people of Operation Sindoor have a deep symbolic meaning which was shared with a message from the Indian Army’s X (x) handle at 1:51 pm. The message was- “#Pahalgamterrorattack Justice is served.” Jai Hind!” This poster wrote “Operation Sindoor”, where a small bowl filled with vermilion and a streak of vermilion were made around the second ‘o’ in the first ‘o’ of the word ‘Sindoor’.
After this, the army also shared several theme -based short videos on social media, which were highly appreciated. All these videos were prepared by the social media team of the ‘Additional Directorate General of Strategic Communication’ of the Indian Army. Let us also remind you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his “Mann Ki Baat” program on Sunday that Operation Sindoor is not just a military campaign, but the face of changing India which reflects the country’s determination, courage and increasing strength on the global stage. The Prime Minister described it as a significant turn in the global fight against terror and a symbol of India’s clear attitude.
