Coal Scam Case: ED issues notice to CM Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee again


The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is all set to question Trinamool Congress A MP and nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee, once again. Sources said that the ED has issued a notice to Abhishek Banerjee for re-interrogation.

Abhishek Banerjee has already been questioned by the ED in a money laundering case related to the alleged coal scam. At the same time, according to sources, notice has once again been issued to Abhishek Banerjee. Abhishek Banerjee is likely to be questioned on September 20 or 21.

Let me tell you that a few days back, the ED had questioned Abhishek Banerjee in Delhi for more than eight hours in connection with the coal scam. After coming out of the ED’s office, Banerjee attacked the BJP, saying, “The dictatorial regime will be defeated and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) will fight the ruling party at the Center with all its might.”
