The construction work of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s dream project “International Film City” can start by the end of this month or next month. Boney Kapoor’s company Boni Kapoor’s company Bevyuu projects LLP has made complete preparations for the construction work. The geo-technical survey of the land on which it is to be constructed is almost complete and the company will submit its building plan in the coming two-three days. Meanwhile, the work of leveling the land is going on and other development works including road construction are also in rapid progress. Cleanliness work is almost complete. The construction work will be launched as soon as all the approval is received. Its foundation stone will be done with the tax Kamlo of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. It is noteworthy that under this ambitious scheme of Yogi Sarkar, this International Film City is being set up in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) area, which aims to provide a new identity in the field of film production, media, entertainment and tourism to the state.
CM Yogi’s dream will be true
According to Rajiv Arora, GM of Bevyui Projects LLP, the construction work will be formally started as soon as the building plan is approved. In the first phase (Phase-1), the company will set up 13 to 14 state-of-the-art film Sound Studios and about 3 lakh square meters. The entire project will be constructed within 8 years in three phases. Rajiv Arora said, “We will make a film city that will make the dreams of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath come true.” He also said that the foundation stone of the Film City will be done by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself, for which the process of determining time from the Chief Minister’s office is going on.
Film city will take UP’s image to new heights
Yida is also very excited about the construction of Film City, which is going to develop in the Yida region. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, Yida is ready to start this project as soon as possible. Every kind of bottleneck that comes in the middle is being removed. The process ranging from land acquisition to compensation to farmers is being done with complete transparency. The project will not only establish Uttar Pradesh as a national and international film production center, but will also play an important role in the promotion of employment generation, investment attraction and cultural heritage in the state. This dream project of Yogi government is a historic step towards taking the image of Uttar Pradesh to new heights.
Film city will develop on 1000 acres in Sector 21
The Film City Project is being developed in Sector-21 on the Yamuna Expressway, which has a total area of 1000 acres. Work on 230 acres of land will be started in the first phase (Phase-1) of the project, which is an estimated cost of ₹ 1510 crore. The letter of award has been released last year to the LLP selected as the highest bidder by giving the highest 18 percent gross revenue. On 27 June 2024, the Consignment Agreement has also been signed between Yida and Consignial Representative Boney Kapoor, according to which, on 27 February 2025, the Site’s Right of Way Consestioner has been transferred. Under this project, the master plan of Film City was approved on 30 January 2025. In future, the remaining 770 acres of land will be expanded under Phase-2 and Phase-3.
