Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday unveiled the scheme for Greater Ghaziabad. Emphasizing that Greater is important for the development of Ghaziabad district, CM Yogi said that the Municipal Corporation will include Loni, Khoda and Muradnagar Municipal Councils. Loni is located in the northern part of Ghaziabad, while Muradnagar is in the north-east, and in the southern part of the Khoda district.

Yogi said that Ghaziabad is shining as the new Ghaziabad today. While sometimes gang war and crime films were made in its name, now it is a model of cleanliness and well -organized city. It may include the top 50 clean cities in the world. He said that no one could have imagined that it would be connected to the 12 -lane Greenfield Expressway and it will be the first city in the country where the rapid rail will run … where there were some mountains of garbage, now there are city forests.
Yogi Adityanath provided the launch kit to the batch going on Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. CM wished these passengers heartily and wished for a pleasant-magnificent journey. The Chief Minister said that I pray to Devadhidev Mahadev to remain grace on all this. All the passengers coming to visit will be given assistance of one lakh rupees from the UP government. We established Kailash Mansarovar Bhawan for the convenience of passengers. Today more than 200 devotees are going to come to this building and become a part of the yatra.

CM said that programs related to development-fundamental facilities including Baba Dudhwarnath Temple Corridor construction were also discussed. The BCCI had taken land here long ago to build the stadium, but the work did not progress further. The Ghaziabad Development Authority was asked to use that land and make stadium and operate it.
