Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai held an important meeting with Lee J Jeng and senior officials of the institution during his visit to South Korea with Advanced Technology Center Association (ATCA) president. The ATCA represents a powerful industrial network of IT, electronics, semiconductor, pharma and more than 60 leading companies in the textile sector. Welcoming the ATCA delegation, the Chief Minister emphasized that the Government of Chhattisgarh is committed to providing investor-friendly environment. He invited Lee J Jeng and his officials to visit Chhattisgarh during their upcoming visit to India and directly evaluate opportunities for investment and cooperation in the state.

The ATCA expressed interest in creating a commercial 2 commercial partnership with firms in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai emphasized that major institutions like IITs, IIMs, NITs and AIIMS are located in the state, which provide world -class talent. He said that the plug-and-play of Chhattisgarh makes the state a natural centers to expand the research and development centers of ATCA and its expansion in India. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is developing rapidly with industry-friendly policies, abundant natural resources, skilled human capital and strong infrastructure. He insisted that fields such as IT, Electronics, Semiconductor, Pharma and Textile offer immense opportunities for cooperation. He further said, we want ATCA companies to come, invest and establish new dimensions of partnership. This will create large -scale employment for the youth of the state and will also provide new energy to the local industries.

During his visit to South Korea, Sai also addressed the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program organized in collaboration with the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK) in Seoul. He described Chhattisgarh as a state with immense possibilities for South Korean enterprises. He reported that South Korea is one of India’s top three steel export sites and as a major steel producer, Chhattisgarh is ready to deepen this cooperation and provide new investment opportunities. Chief Minister Sai further said that Chhattisgarh is rich in mineral resources which are important for automobiles and electronics industries. He said, “The state has abundant reserves of lithium, which can promote electric vehicle revolution and strengthen the new era industries. It makes Chhattisgarh a natural center of global energy change.
