Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann met the major representatives of the semiconductor industry on Friday and made the concrete steps for making the leading semiconductor hub. He assured that the government would make every effort to develop a strong semiconductor echo-system in Punjab.
The Chief Minister said that semiconductor chips have become the basic foundation today and the basic instruments of each modified instruments and give it power to the artifacheal intelligence. He also said that the industry is currently contributing to the country’s economy with an annual rate of 20-23 per cent.
The Chief Minister Mann clarified that India is moving faster in the sector of semiconductor and the sector of the design and Punjab have been set to lead in this race.
