The government has taken major action action under the Zero Tollance Policy by corruption. The Mann government has suspended 25 officers of various jails.
The government has suspended 25 prison workers, including 3 Deputy Superintendents and 2 Assistant Superintendents. This great action has been given to the end of corruption and drug network. Jails had information about corruption and drug network, which was taken hard. The government was getting complaints to promote drug network in corruption, carelessness and prison in officials.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had already made it clear that zero conscription policy would be adopted and even if he had no one, no one would be spared. This action has been made under the same policy in view of the long-term irregularities within the jail department.
According to sources, the government was receiving special facilities to drugs from many prisons, mobile phones, including matters of matters and matters such as biblical matters. The recent visins and investigations in some jails were confirmed by the allegations, after which this decision was taken.
The Punjab Government is working on the plan to end the drug trafficking network in the jails. Senior officials of the Jail Department has made clear instructions to be held tough action if there is a negligence or collusion in the future.
