Patna. Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar inspected the construction work of Danapur-Bihta Elevated Corridor and Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga Bridge. During this, the Chief Minister directed to complete the construction work expeditiously. The Chief Minister inspected the Danapur-Bihta elevated corridor and took information about the progress of the construction work. During this, the officials told the Chief Minister that the construction work is going on at a fast pace and there is no problem of any kind.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that with the completion of this project, traffic from Bihta to Koilwar will become easier. It will help in connecting Patna city with NH-922 and Koilwar bridge. It will act as an important feeder corridor connecting NH-922 to Ring Road (Kanhauli Mod), NH-139 to AIIMS Golambar. Under this project, special connectivity will be provided to Bihta International Airport. He said that we have been continuously inspecting this project and giving suggestions regarding it from time to time. Complete the work as soon as possible.
After this, the Chief Minister took stock of the progress of the construction work of Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga Bridge. During this, the officials told the Chief Minister that the construction work is going on at a fast pace. Everything for the construction has been provided by the state government. During the inspection, the Chief Minister also inspected the place of Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga Bridge where the connectivity of JP Ganga Path will be with Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga Bridge. During this, the Chief Minister said that with the completion of Sherpur-Dighwara project, the traffic burden on Patna city will be reduced and the traffic system of the city will also become stronger and easier. He said that people going towards Chhapra, Siwan, Gopalganj and Hajipur will no longer need to pass through Patna city. With the completion of these projects, the people of the state will be able to get an alternative way to travel from one place to another. We have been continuously monitoring it, complete this work as soon as possible.

Sharma and other senior officers were present.
