America’s tension -boosting weapon
One of the main attraction of the Chinese military parade was the launch of the Dongfeng-5 (DF-5C), a new version of the nuclear intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). Experts say the Silo-based missile is capable of carrying a nuclear weapon with three to four megatas TNT explosive capacity, which is about 200 times the power of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Additionally, this missile’s firepower exceeds 13,000 km, leading to continental United States and Western Europe easily reach it. It is believed that it also has the ability to carry 10 multiple independent targetable re-entry vehicle warheads. Former PLA instructor Song Jhongping had earlier told South China Morning Post that DF-5 would play an important role in establishing China’s intercontinental nuclear capacity. He said, “Without DF-5, China cannot be considered a country with a reliable intercontinent attack.

DF-61 is believed to be the most advanced ICBM in China after DF-41 present in service. It is believed that this PLA Rocket will be part of the force’s long -range missile operations. The DF-41 firepower is already 14,000 kilometers. Earlier, senior Fellow Rick Fisher at the International Assessment and Strategy Center Think Tank told The Washington Times. Sometimes the missile called DF-45 or DF-51 is clearly designed to perform better than DF-41. He also said that the estimated range of the new missile would be 11,999 to 15,000 km.
‘Guam Killer’ missile performance
China’s PLA Rocket Force also unveiled its new DF-26D missile, a type of DF-26 medium-range ballistic missiles. This medium -range ballistic missile (IRBM), named ‘Guam Killer’, is specially created to target American military bases located in Guam, from where a main element of any American military response against Chinese threat will be launched in the region. The DF-26D firepower is about 5,000 kilometers and can carry both atoms and traditional weapons. The thing to make this missile especially powerful is that it includes a jamming system to avoid navigation, Electronic War (EW) defects and interception. These upgrade can increase its accuracy and American and associate defense systems, such as Patriots, Thaad and Aegis, which are the most powerful per-mesile systems in the American arsenal.
