Chris Gayle’s Mahakulasa over IPL, accused of disrespecting this franchise

West Indies great opener Chris Gayle has made a big disclosure about the IPL. Actually, he has expressed the truth and pain of the season he had passed with Punjab Kings. Chris Gayle has said that the Punjab Kings franchise disrespect him and treated him like a child. He has also mentioned KL Rahul and Anil Kumble, who was the captain and head coach at that time.

Chris Gayle said in Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast that, my IPL season with Punjab Kings had ended before time. I was disrespected at Kings XI. I felt that despite being a senior player, who did so much for the league and earned the value, I was not treated properly. He treated me like a child. For the first time in life, I felt that I was going into depression. I cried while talking to Anil Kumble, because I was very hurt. I was disappointed with the way from him and the franchise. KL Rahul also called me and said, stop Chris, you will play the next match, but I just said, wishes you and packed your bag and got out.

Apart from Punjab, Chris has also played IPL for KKR and RCB. He has played 142 matches in this league. He has scored a total of 4965 runs in his 141 innings. 175 is his best. He scored 6 centuries and 31 half -centuries. He made his IPL debut in 2008 and after that he played the last IPL match in 2021.
