China stopped India’s supply, Japan stood in front as a rock

China was preparing to give India a blow. It was hoping that it would disturb India. He can stop the growing speed of India, Jinping had become proud of this. But India has broken this Gurur of China. A decision in India has given a strong reply to China as well as the US. Especially China has told that we are not trusting you, but you are sitting on our trust. Actually, you must have heard about rare meanings minerals. If not heard, it clears the basic. It is a group of 17 elements, including lathenides, scandium and yatrium. These elements play an important role in the production of technical, industrial and consumer goods. Lithium also comes in them. Lithium is used in battery these days. A trend is increasing very fast these days here. We are using EV (electric vehicles) more.

China did not get tricky work

India is emerging as its big market. But the challenge before India is that the lithium rare meaning used in it is counted among the minerals. That lithium used to come from China till now. Suddenly, China decided and stopped the supply of lithium to India. China felt that if the supply of lithium to India was stopped, then India will start requesting it. But India has immediately found a second solution for it. India made such a system and created a supply chain that has disturbed China.

India Japan Cooperation

According to a report, representatives of more than a dozen Japanese companies, including EV batteries and important mineral supply chain areas, are currently in India. Companies such as Panasonic, Mitsubishi Chemicals and Sumitomo Metals and Mining are part of this group. These companies associated with Japan’s Battery Association of Supply Chains are looking for partnership opportunities in India.

Indian companies in focus

The report states that Indian companies like Amra Raja and Reliance are discussing with Japanese industries. These conversations focus on the supply chain of lithium-ion batteries, which are important for EV and energy storage systems. Both Indian and Japanese companies want to challenge China’s dominance in the rare earth region, where China controls 90% of the global supply of rare earth magnets. Since April, China has stopped supply of rare earth magnets to India. Additionally, China holds 80% stake in global lithium battery production and Japan is second with only 10% stake. However, according to some experts, these partnerships with Japanese companies may have limited benefits to Indian firms, as China has control over most parts of the price chain in rare earth elements such as mining, refinement and processing. Currently, more than three-fourths of batteries used by Indian EV companies are imported from China, as well as supply from South Korea and Japan. Indian companies are actively working to reduce this dependence.
