Officials said that Bhima alias Dholu alias Dinesh Podiaam (40), who operated in company number six in the former Bastar Division on Wednesday, surrendered to the security forces. He told that a reward of Rs 10 lakh is declared on him.
In Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, three Naxalites of Rs 19 lakh have been surrendered. According to the police, the incident took place on June 2 in Sukma district of the state a few weeks after surrendering 16 Naxalites. Of these, six Naxalites collectively had a reward of Rs 25 lakh. Nine of these Naxalites belonged to the Keralapenda Gram Panchayat under the Chintalanar police station area.

He told that a reward of Rs 10 lakh is declared on him. He said that earlier on Tuesday, two women Naxalites Sukli Korram alias Sapna and Deoli Mandavi also surrendered in the district. Officials said that a reward of eight lakh rupees on Sukli and one lakh rupees on Deoli.
He said that the Naxalites have decided to surrender due to continuous development works being done in Abujhmad region and Narayanpur district and upset with the increasing internal differences within the Naxalite organization. Officials said that a check of Rs 50,000 has been provided to the Naxalites for surrendering and they will be provided facilities under the Naxal Abolition Policy. He said that a total of 104 Naxalites have surrendered in front of security forces in the district this year.
