FBI Director Kash Patel presented his stand in the Senate Judicial Committee, while Democrats accused him of politicization of the agency and taking revenge on Trump critics. The hearing was held after the murder of Charlie Kirk in Utah. At the hearing, top Democrat leader Dick Dik Durbin alleged that Patel spread a large -scale confusion by indicating the arrest of the suspect long ago. Darbin said, “Stay silent in important stages of investigation and allow professionals to work.”

Patel clarified that a few hours after the incident, his social media post was not for any wrong claim, but to tell the public that a person is in custody, even if he is not the main suspicious. Patel said that the professional team is working and the suspect was caught in 33 hours. Republican Senator Ted Cruise asked the agency to focus on conduct and chase the funding of violence. When the Democrat Corey Booker surrounded Patel on the dismissal in the agency, there was a sharp noise. At the same time, President Trump praised Patel for fast action.
