Chaina-pakistan, Asim Munir, along with India’s claim, also had red eyes of XI Jinping

Pakistan’s Army Chiefs Asim Munir and China have said that Islamabad’s claim of external support during the recent military conflict with India is ‘factualically wrong’. Addressing the graduate officers at the National Defense University in Islamabad, Munir indirectly targeted India, saying that any adventurous or effort to weaken Pakistan’s sovereignty would be responded with quick and strong response without any hesitation. There is a poor effort…. ”
Let us remind you that last week the Indian Army Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Rahul R Singh said that Beijing provided active military assistance to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor and used the struggle as a laboratory for testing various arms systems. Munir claimed that unlike India’s strategic behavior based on ‘narrow self-comprehension’, Pakistan has established a permanent partnership on the basis of theoretical diplomacy, which is based on mutual respect and peace and has established itself as a stability in the region. Munir said, “Any attempt to target our residential areas, military bases, economic centers and ports will be immediately responded.” He said that war is not won by media rhetoric, imported fancy hardware or political slogans, but also through faith, professional capacity, operational clarity, institutional strength and national resolution.
Apart from this, India’s claim has been rejected not only by Pakistan but also China. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman described these claims as “completely baseless and misleading” in the press briefing. He reiterated that China believes in maintaining regional peace and does not bias in any kind of military conflict in South Asia.
If you do diplomatic analysis of this episode, first of all, if we look at India, military cooperation between Pakistan and China has been a long -term security concern for India. The Gwadar port, CPEC and joint military exercises deepen the apprehension that Pakistan may get strategic support from China in the hour of crisis. In such a situation, any indirect or possible assistance alerts India’s security establishment.
At the same time, China is currently presenting itself as a stability provider on global forums. Open interference or support in Indo-Pak tension can tarnish this image. Also, keeping in mind the business and border-related relations with India, China wants to avoid any perception that presents it as anti-India power.
On the other hand, although Pakistan calls China a “Iron Brother” and is a partner in multi-dimensional cooperation like CPEC, it hesitates to directly draw China in military conflicts. Doing so can damage its legitimacy on international forums.
However, in the backdrop of Indo-Pak military tension, the intervention or assistance of China has been denied by the two countries. But this controversy shows that the security system of South Asia is now not only bilateral, but in a tripartite or multi-polar context. India will now have to make its policy in such situations, not only military strength, but also keeping in mind diplomatic clarity, information war and strategic partnerships.
