A senior South Korean health ministry official, Son Young-rae, said at a briefing that many Korean businessmen participating in ‘CES 2022’ are vulnerable to COVID-19.

South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo has reported that most Samsung executives who came to Kovid positive have been deported from the US back to Korea on two chartered flights. The newspaper has reported that Samsung executives are being taken to quarantine facilities. Most of these have mild symptoms.

A spokesperson for the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) at CES has yet to comment.
