CBSE Board Exam 2026 Date: Children of 10th and 12th should be ready, exams will start from February 17, tentative datasheet released, see complete information here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a possible dates of class 10th and 12th board examinations to be held in 2026. According to the official notification, these examinations will be held in India and abroad from 17 February to 15 July 2026. The board said that its objective is to help students, teachers and schools to plan in time.

45 lakh students will give exams

In 2026, about 45 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the examination in 204 subjects. Students of class 10 and 12, not only from all over India, but also from 26 countries, will participate in it, which shows the global presence of CBSE. The board has also stated that along with the main examinations, practical, evaluation and results and results will also be conducted to declare the results on time.

Why is the possible datsheet released now?

CBSE said that the purpose of releasing a possible schedule soon is to help students, schools and teachers to plan more effectively. These possible dates have been prepared on the basis of registration data of class 9 and class 11 for the year 2025.
