In a tense atmosphere in the United Nations Security Council, India’s permanent representative Ambassador, Parvatnani Harish, strongly criticized Pakistan’s conduct during an annual open debate on children and armed conflicts (CAAC). India accused Islamabad of using the United Nations forums as a weapon to divert attention from its internal human rights violations and state -sponsored terrorism.

Pakistan accused of hypocrisy and violation
Ambassador Harish condemned Pakistan as one of the serious violations of the CAAC agenda, including attacks on girls’ schools and health workers and cross -border shelling in Afghanistan, damaging minors. He accused the country of imposing unfair attacks on the United Nations processes and pursuing his nefarious agenda to defame India, and also said that such behavior is very hypocritical in view of Pakistan’s record.

Human rights connect with terrorism
Harish linked Pakistan’s human rights record with terrorist campaigns across the border, reference to an attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, killing 26 tourists, who were accused of Pakistan -based terrorists, and urged to take action against those responsible, citing the United Nations Security Council’s statement of April 25, on the April 25 of April. India demanded accountability
