Protests against Pakistani artists have intensified since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has demanded a complete ban on Pakistani artists working in India. He said that if an Indian citizen works with him, a case of treason will be registered against him. Actually, the release of Fawad Khan’s Bollywood comeback film Abir Gulal has been stopped.

Speaking to ANI, General Secretary of FWICE Ashok Dubey said, ‘Since this is a matter of national interest, the country comes first. Constant attacks, including an attack on our tourists in Pahalgam recently, are extremely shameful. We have once again released the press release, which clearly states that if any of our members were found working with Pakistani artists or technicians, we will take action against him and stop working with him.

Ashok Dubey further informed that he has also written a letter to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to issue a notification, stating that if an Indian member works with Pakistani artists, a case of treason should be filed against him, so that he would think a thousand times before doing all these things.

Apart from this, we are writing letters to all the organizations associated with us. If someone is found to be involved in such activities again, he will not be allowed to work in the industry.

Fawad’s film will not be released in India

For the first time after the Pulwama attack, a Pakistani actor film was scheduled to release in India. Pakistani artists were banned in India after the Uri attack and Pulwama attack. But both times the ban was lifted.

According to the report of Hindustan Times- The theater owners are not ready for the screening of Abir Gulal. He has informed the makers about his decision.

Apart from this, Ashok Pandit, Chief Advisor of Film Federation FWICE, has also officially announced to ban Pakistani artists from India.
